BEDROOMS

This beautiful, lakeside townhouse offers three bedrooms plus a loft area to
comfortably accommodate your whole family during your stay. The easygoing,
rustic ambiance creates a relaxing backdrop for your getaway. With upholstered
headboards, neutral patterned rugs, and soothing artwork, the cozy bedrooms are
the perfect place to unwind after a day packed full of adventures on and around
the lake. The primary bedroom offers a king-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom, a
large smart TV, and private access to the lower deck via French doors. The
second bedroom provides a comfy queen-sized bed and plenty of pillows for you to
rest your head each night. In the third bedroom, you’ll find another queen-sized
bed plus a twin-sized bunk bed – ideal for families with young children to stay
together. For more space and flexibility with your sleeping arrangements, there
is a beautiful loft area above the living room and kitchen.  With an additional
three twin-sized beds, your whole family will have plenty of space to spread out
and relax.

BATHROOMS

Everyone will be able to get ready for a fun day enjoying the lakes and Point
Venture’s amazing amenities, quickly and comfortably thanks to the three full
bathrooms. The primary bedroom’s ensuite bathroom has a luxurious shower and
modern, single vanity. Another large bathroom with a shower unit is available
for the whole group to use. For those who prefer a soak in the tub, you’ll find
a third bathroom with a bathtub and shower combo. Each bathroom is stocked with
plenty of fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body wash, saving you a
little extra space in your luggage.

KITCHEN & LOUNGE

The gorgeous kitchen and living room are bathed in natural light throughout the
day. This inviting space is bursting with character, from the mid-century
chandelier (one of our favorite features!) to the galvanized steel wall panels
with organic wood edges. As day turns to night, gather around the wood-burning
fireplace for cozy fire-side chats. The large flat-screen TV is perfect for
family movie nights – just whip up a batch of stovetop popcorn and relax! The
large kitchen is a wonderful space to prepare your favorite home-cooked meals.
Modern stainless steel appliances are perfectly set amongst the rustic wood
cabinets, which are stocked with all the cookware and dishes you’ll need. The
kitchen island is the ideal space to chat with the chef while they’re cooking
and to enjoy the food when it’s ready. In the dining room, you’ll find a formal
wood dining table for six and a bar counter with stools. There’s plenty of space
for everyone to enjoy meals together.

OUTSIDE SPACE

Our newly-renovated getaway is situated on the shores of Lake Travis, so a
vacation here is all about the great outdoors! The townhouse offers you a choice
of two covered decks. The main deck can be accessed via the living room and is
nestled among leafy treetops. From here, you’ll have an amazing view of the lake
– it’s a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the mesmerizing sunset
colors paint the sky. Fire up the BBQ for a Texas-style cookout and throw a
freshly-caught fish on the grill. An outdoor dining table is here for you to
enjoy delicious al fresco meals. Two sets of spiral stairs lead down to the
lower deck. You’ll have a sense of complete privacy and feel one with nature as
you’re surrounded by the trees. This peaceful spot is ideal for sipping your
morning coffee or enjoying a nightcap at the high-top table. Head down the stone
steps to the lake and you’ll find the dock, which is a wonderfully convenient
access point to the water for swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. While we don’t
provide water toys in the townhouse, you’re always welcome to bring your own!
Please note that if you’re planning to launch a boat onto the lake, you’ll need
to head to the community dock as the water here is too shallow. When you’re
ready for a break from splashing around in the water, relax under the lakeside
gazebo where you’ll find an outdoor dining table for five people. It’s the
perfect place for a picnic lunch while taking in the views of the lake and
natural rock wall. For your convenience, you’ll find space to park your vehicle
just steps away from the cozy porch entrance. Our townhouse is situated in the
private lake community of Point Venture. Throughout your stay, you’ll have
access to all of the amazing outdoor amenities on offer. A community swimming
pool is open daily between 10 am and 8 pm. The 50-acre waterfront park and
playground is the perfect place for anyone looking for a little excitement.
You’ll also have access to a lovely sandy beach, the community boat ramp, tennis
courts, a golf course, and disc golf. Just minutes away from the house, you’ll
find Captain Pete’s Boathouse. This floating restaurant and bar is the perfect
place to visit when you don’t feel like cooking or simply to enjoy a frozen
margarita or “Lake Travis Tea” as the sun dips below the horizon. For other food
options, you’ll find a variety of nightly food trucks at the Point Venture Golf
Course. The townhouse is just a short drive away from Point Venture’s best
attractions, such as Arkansas Bend Park. When you’re ready to explore further
afield, you’ll find both Austin and San Antonio within drivable distance.

Other things to note

Please note that while this property is lakefront, due to the current drought
conditions, the dock is dried up and the water behind the house is dry. The best
place for swimming will be at the private POA park a few minutes down the road.
It gets very hot in the summer months and these townhome units on the water can
get warm on the third floor (bunk room with queen bed and bunkbeds). All units
in the community are cooled by window units on the third floor and take time to
cool the upstairs down. We also have extra fans in the home to help. The main
floor (queen bedroom) and bottom floor (primary bedroom with king bed) have no
issues cooling down. Stairs going up the loft area are a little steep.
